What an excellent Canada Day!

What an excellent Canada Day! I was really impressed with how everyone pitched in and came together. Programming staff led the way and rallied when their numbers were down. The grounds looked great from the gardens through to the displays. It was nice to see everyone dressed so smartly from the costumes to all the rest in red shirts. The carousel and gift shop staff moved the crowds through while keeping a smile and maintenance staff were there to deal with the volume and requests that such an event brings. All staff and volunteers helped out wherever needed and customer service was great. Numbers were up this year over last and a good time was had by all. It’s great to be part of this wonderful team.

I have received more good comment cards from the public the last couple of months than were received the entire last year. I appreciate all your hard work and the changes that have taken place over the past year.
