BAD STUDENTS VISIT LOCHIEL SCHOOL

On Sat., Oct. 10, 11 BVM volunteers and staff braved the stern teachings of schoolmarm Dianne McLeod, as she put them through their paces in this historic one-room schoolhouse in south Langley.

Thanks go to Dianne, who works part-time delivering programs at Lochiel, for allowing us to learn about the history of this site, and to live the experience from the student's point of view.

Between the chalk dust, the dunce caps, the intimidation tactics, and the cold room, it was lovely day. And yes, Mary DID derserve the strap!
