My 87 year old aunt and I were really enjoying ourselves at the museum today. Your staff and volunteers were so helpful and friendly - Lois at the printers, Elwin at the Chinese Apothecary, the two mechanics at the garage and the blonde, young lady at the Carousel.
My aunt and I hurried to the garage to have a ride around the village in one of their cars. She collapsed from the exertion and the garage men gave me some water for her and directed me to the Carousel where there was a wheelchair. The young, blonde worker pushed and I pulled my aunt across the grass and up the hill to the Carousel where she looked after her in the washroom then gave her a wheelchair tour of the Carousel while I drove the car around to the back.
I drove her home, and she is feeling better now. Just a great big thanks to your very helpful staff and volunteers for their help today. Sincerely, Dorothy Banner
