Burnaby Village Museum’s Carousel was built in 1912 by the CW Parker company in Leavenworth, Kansas. After a 50-year stint at Vancouver’s Happyland and PNE, the carousel was saved from the auction house and brought to the Museum by the Friends of the Carousel. Don Wrigley and other Friends will relate how the group spent over 35,000 hours in the loving restoration of this city icon, a Burnaby Centennial Legacy project.
