The B.C. Day event drew an audience of over 4,500 people, who enjoyed the displays, activities, and hospitality of the BVM staff and volunteers. The "Living Statues" were certainly one of the crowd favorites, and required a lot of work to develop. The design of the statues was led by a team of staff and contractors working under the creative direction of Margaret Kolpin. The interpreters who took on the challenge of bringing the statues to life did an excellent job: Camille McDonald, Elwin Xie, and Eric Damer. Photographs of the event are now available on the P: drive.Photo: Camille McDonald as Pauline Johnson
