Pixie Recognized


On June 6, Pixie McGeachie was recognized by the Heritage Society of British Columbia for her volunteer work, including her work as an author and researcher, board member (including president of the Friends of Interurban 1223), and many years of service as the Burnaby Historical Society's volunteer archivist. She received the prestigious Ruby Nobbs Achievement Award, which is presented annually in recognition of exemplary volunteer commitment to heritage.
